Benchmark works with employers who are ready to break away from low participation rates and embrace wellness programs that are customized to add business value and are sensitive to the culture of the organization. As employees become tired of off-the-shelf wellness programs and wary of the conflict of interest by programs offered by insurance companies, employers are looking for better ways to engage employees in healthy behaviors.

Deanna Moncrief, Founder and CEO, formed Benchmark after directing an employee wellness program at the largest hospital system in Hawaii. A nutritionist by training and having consulted with hundreds of clients over the years, Deanna knows how important it is to eat well. This, in turn, enables us to feel well, work well, and consume health care less often, thus playing an active role in controlling health care costs for everyone.

Ms. Moncrief holds an active position on the Board of the Hawaii Dietetic Association, is a member in good standing of the American Dietetic Association, and was awarded the Nutrition Educator award in 2009 from the American Society of Nutrition for her work with children.
